Want a true taste of how amazing Kent is? Need some inspiration for the weekend? Fancy drooling all over some classic motors? Well we’ve got you cover!
This weekend is the Faversham Transport Weekend and trust us when we say, you do not want to miss out! It’s one of those weekends where you need both days to see it all, to try it all, to ride it all. From classic cars from all era, to Kent made food and drink, all the way to a awesome fun fair, if you don’t absolutely love it there is something slightly wrong with you.
Spread out over the weekend, each day offers something different. Saturday is all about the big boys, the beautiful buses and commercial vehicles that have kept Kent and the rest of the UK running. Whilst Sunday is all about going fast and looking good, with over 350 classic cars and motorbikes on show around the town.

Got a taste for the bigger things in life? They don’t get much bigger than these beautiful buses. Take a tour of the town, with the buses running a regular service throughout the day. Live music will be blasting out as well, with both the metallic rhythms of a steel band between 12pm – 2pm & a touch of the tropics with a Ukulele band performing throughout the day. Let the kids become truck drivers for the day with remote control trucks ready to be trialed all day or indulge yourself at the brilliant Saturday market and come home loaded down after treating yourself (and maybe your loved ones). There is tons more going on throughout that day, but we’re not going to ruin the surprise of just how jam packed your day will be with everything on offer.
If you’re not heading down to Faversham for both days, you’re really missing out! With everything changing up for Day 2 you’re missing a trick. Sunday is all about the classic cars and motorbikes from your dreams. With over 350 cars and bikes, you’ll be in petrol headed heaven as you stroll around the town. If art on 2 or 4 wheels isn’t for you, there is an art and photo exhibit to enjoy, as well as even more wonderful music throughout the day. Sunday sees Brass, Jazz and some classic 40’s & 50’s music come to town, and even some up and coming artistes busking around the town. What more could you want. Once again, that’s not all going on throughout the day, but we don’t want to give the whole show away.
The great thing about the whole weekend, is we’ll be helping you keep track of everything through the App. The Transport Weekend has its own section on We Love Kent, and we’ll be sending you live updates so you don’t miss anything across the weekend. Make sure to share your adventures in Faversham with us on the App & social media!
